Call for Papers
OBJETIVE
We are going through a stage of universal paradigm shifts that inevitably lead to a demanding industrial development, and indeed, this represents a great challenge!
Getting together in one place is the opportunity to all those who are responsible for producing and using steel products in order to be at the forefront that this time demands. To produce more, at lower costs and of better quality is what we should achieve altogether. Therefore, the objective in these conferences is to summon producers, professionals, users, researchers as well as industry suppliers to strengthen and promote the exchange of knowledge, favoring the transfer of technological innovation. We hope to learn from experiences in order to cope with the challenge faced by the steel production chain.
LANGUAGE
The official languages of the event are Spanish and English. A simultaneous translation service (Spanish-English) will be provided.

The abstract must be written in Spanish or Portuguese and English and it must provide sufficient information for a fair assessment including the objective of the paper, the methodology used and the conclusions or results of the work.
STUDENT PAPERS
Undergraduate students are specially invited to present university projects or co-op experiences on any of the subjects listed above.
DEADLINES
Deadline for the abstract submission is 2nd May, 2012.
Abstracts will be evaluated by the Technical Committees and applicants will receive a notification of acceptance within the following 30 days after reception and will be sent additional information on how to prepare the complete manuscript.
Deadline for the full paper submission is 18th July, 2012.
PROCEEDINGS
All accepted papers will be published in the CD-Rom proceedings and given to attendees on arrival at the Conferences.
Publishing rights of the written final papers and those presented at the Conferences are exclusively reserved to the Instituto Argentino de Siderurgia (IAS).
